Her story
The path to Glitti Beauty
Gitty's interest in makeup started early — not as a hobby, but as a hands-on study. Long before it was a career, she was already testing techniques on herself and practicing hairstyles on friends and family, building an instinct for what actually works on real faces.
In 2020, she saved enough to enroll in beauty school — and then the pandemic put those plans on hold. For the next few years she held down a full-time job while still taking clients on the side, until in 2023 she made the decision to commit to beauty full-time.
The move to New York in 2024 came without a roadmap. A stint at a small salon in New York turned into far more than makeup artistry — booking systems, stock management, and supplier relationships all fell to her, giving her a grounding in the business side most artists never get. She added waxing, lash lifts, and brow lamination to her skill set along the way.
From there, she spent over a year at MAC sharpening her technique and color theory, then worked backstage at New York Fashion Week. Today, Gitty and her team travel across New York and New Jersey, working one-on-one with brides to bring their wedding-day vision to life.
